Advice for (potentially) switching to reefers?

    Does the company pay for the washouts? What if you unload very early in the a.m.? Would you have to wait for a truck wash to open, therefore wasting time?

    Yes washouts are paid for , you'll learn who wants a wash out and who doesn't

    Honestly if you have a clean record you are leaving a lot of money on the table. I spent 3 years at Swift and wish i would have left instead. If you are getting the miles and enjoy it by all means stay, if not most companies with the miles and pay only require a year experience. Unless the company you want to go with requires 2 years exp, i would say look around, but that is just me.
