I had actually hoped that the Love's app on this Samcrappa would be usable...but it won't let me sign in because some setting on the date/time is grayed out and can't be changed...which also causes the time up in the left hand corner to change with the timezone instead of being set to the Arlington clock. Thankfully my logs don't use that to keep time. I finally figured out how to keep the HoS dials dark mode so I don't have a white light in my face while driving. And this thing now locks me out while driving so I can't see how many miles I have driven because it doesn't display them while moving...and this thing can't make up it's mind about what it locks me out of...sometimes I can get it to go back to the main app screen...but then it doesn't show me anything but the Transflo app, and won't let me back into the HoS Samsara screen. Peoplenet on it's most annoying day is 10x better than this POS...the over/under for me breaking this in half is 2 hometimes.

Have you watched the training on how to send the BOl and trip sheets in on the new tablets?

did the samsara auto arrive you when you got to your stop?

btw this is not a Wylie thing, all of Daseke is switching to this system and going away from transflow. Everything will be done on the tablets, something spd has been trying to do for at least two years.

    Training - Not yet

Auto arrive - No, this unit doesn't even have me on this route(load). I was dispatched on it when I had the Peoplenet, the other truck only had me routed from SPD to KW and back to SPD.

This being done by Daseke - another reason to get the hell away from Daseke or TFI or whomever we will be next.

scanning via their equipment is fine by me. We had in-cab scanning via the Qualcomm when I was at Big G

This thing is just too glitchy to be trusted...however I have achieved a 98 out of 100 on my driving grade...I lost 2 points for speeding

Has it talked to you? The only thing mine said is “seat belt unfastened”.

The tablet or the camera talks? Not yet...maybe it is waiting so it doesn't over poke the bear and end up out the window.

Turn off the wifi and run it on cellular only. You should be able to work it while driving that way.

The camera. I heard they were quite talkative for the first people/test people a few months ago. Spd is usually pretty good about turning the super annoying stuff off/raising the thresholds.

a driver was complaining in our Facebook group about getting a “warning” for following to closely. It was for less the one second following distance for over 30 seconds. He got roasted in the comments, I don’t think he expected it to go that way.

Not sure what SPD will say about that.

Read the last 20 or so pages of this thread.

You should come to FCC. We have none of this BS over here. Most stress free trucking you’ll ever do.

Not certain they would be a good fit for me. Besides, they don't need my bad Ju-Ju screwing up one of the few remaining decent companies out here.
