Not sure how true it is, but I also heard from one driver that the camera has a microphone that is on whenever the camera is on...and who knows when it is on when the truck is off since it doesn't have any indicator lights.

Never hurts to give Mike in recruiting a call, you never know. He’ll lay it all down on the table for you. We have very low turnover (for this industry at least) for a reason. One of the things I keep hearing from other drivers is that they wish they had found them sooner.

The old cameras also had a microphone built in. Everything I’ve seen has the camera shutting off 10 min after the truck shuts off. That’s the default anyway.

Watched all the training videos for this Sam-crappa unit. According to one of them, when you do a manual arrive and depart for your customer locations it is supposed to put a dot in the little circle. Had them dispatch me on the load again and it still doesn't do that. Plus, when I scroll down to see how many miles I have driven thus far, it was stuck at 93 for about 20 miles. Maybe the idiots at Daseke should have done their homework before buying fleet wide equipment instead of bargaining for a cheaper price on less reliable stuff. Daseke has really gone down the tubes, no wonder they sold out to the Canuks.

I hate this arctic crap. When I fueled in Post Falls, I had over 3/4 tank of DEF. When I fueled in Hardin, MT the DEF pumps were frozen and they had been out of boxed DEF since Friday. I stopped in Box Elder...same story. I fueled in Kimball only the driver's side pump would pump fuel and all DEF pumps down, no box DEF available. I use the Trucker Path app and call all around...same story. I am down under 1/4 now. So far, the only place I have found box DEF available is, so their website says, Lowe's in Rapid City.

You need to find where they sell the DEF and Carry at least 2 gallons of it in your side box for this reason… I carry 2 gallons and I ran into the same problem with that def pumps frozen in North Platte but I had the 2 gallons in my side box I was able to put in to get me the rest the way to Salt Lake

I’m thinking I picked a darn good week to take off. By sheer luck.
