Got to my delivery at 7:35, got checked in and unsecured the load. At 8:30 my dispatcher called and said the salesman was giving him static about me not arriving yet. He said he told him check you #### before calling, the driver has been there over an hour. The unload went off without a hitch, but getting this old conestoga to seal in the front is a ##### after getting empty. I have unwound it to make sure it is spooling right, and even tried sticking something between the top rod and the slot to pull in the top...and it doesn't change things to tighten the front before putting tension on it from the back. The bottom is tight but the top is way off. Gawd I hate this trailer.

It was 930 before I got rolling so they changed my location to pick up...still the same load, but I am picking up in Cheney now instead of Spokane Valley, and they said I could pick up tomorrow morning, which is fine because after the last couple weeks of this has made me seriously consider total retirement from trucking. I have honestly lost the love for this whole industry.

If your feeling froggy, which it doesn’t sound like you are, you might be able to make that from seal better.

unlock the front and unwind the straps all the way out. The end around the tensioner should be velcro’ed back to its self, you can undo the Velcro and tighten it up. They get stretched or loose over time and sometimes need adjustment.

I wound it all the way out but it was at the tightest it could be and still get the opposite weave of the velcro to stick...so I MacGyver'd...took an old piece of 1" strap and wound it around the tension strap a time or two, then when I tightened it up it put a bump that took up some extra length every time it went over it. Tight as a drum now. Plus I used my remaining pieces of pipe insulation and tucked it in the gaps around the wheel well plates. Should be good for a load or two...

On today's episode of Samsara sucks...it doesn't know how to add properly. Since my 34 I have used 9.43, 9.50, and 5.05 which is a total of 24.38...that should leave me with 45.22...here is what it says I have
