you weren’t joking. Had my APU heat on all night when I took my break north of Albuquerque yesterday. Pulled into the Petro east of Kingman for the night and it’s 65 outside

After 2020 aviation like many other industries suffered massive losses of experienced workers, add the ridiculous cost cutting at Boeing and the airlines and you get more mishaps. The air traffic control segment has also been hit hard and we’re seeing far too many close calls on runways.

In my previous life I flew nearly every week, I’m so glad I’m not doing that these days…

We told them our trucks were too short, so they ordered trucks with 3” less wheel base. Sometimes you have to show them that the trucks are too short. 2 out of 3 guys with brand new trucks have put the load into the headache rack.

this was caused by a guard on the front of the trailer, no damage other then the headache rack, and my safety bonus. It wasn't even that crazy of a turn. IMG_6507.jpeg

This is what happens when you have people who have no idea about turning radiuses for trucks, especially flatbeds that need more frame space ordering trucks…

I’d fight losing your safety bonus over that.
