An old man's career goes flat, Snackbar moves to open deck

Almost daily my Sam-crappa unit shows the wrong location when I do my post trip and shut down for the night. Last night it showed me doing my post trip in SD (and I was parked in Rock Port, MO) then the next entry was my off duty in the correct location in MO. Do a reboot of the unit and it fixes it. I brought it to safety's attention and the Samsara guy said "don't worry about it". I am half tempted to stop rebooting and then refuse to certify every log that is incorrect so that safety management sees there is a problem. Telling me to certify an incorrect log is just wrong.

 

Amazingly enough my 1st stop is directly across the interstate from the Pilot in Benton, AR

Glad I came down to the customer's neighborhood today... Bentonville's forecast yesterday was a winter weather advisory with just an inch or two predicted. Now, it has been raised to a winter storm warning with 4-6" predicted starting after midnight.

 

I have tracked down when my Samsara changes my logs to the incorrect location(to a point). When I shut down last night, everything was accurate and correct. This morning when I started the truck to get it back online with my truck's ecm, it changed the location of my post trip on duty time and my off duty time that immediately followed. In the morning I will check it before I start the engine to see if it is the interaction between my truck and it's gateway that is the issue or if when it lost connection to the truck overnight that is causing it to change my logs.
