The Sam-crappa played "where's Snackbar" again yesterday with my posttrip on duty time. The crazy thing is, it doesn't do it every day. Not sure what circumstances have to be in place to cause it. It did allow me to PC across the lot at the Barstow Love's today without screwing up. (I was in the dirt lot behind the truck wash and moved across the street to the paved lot behind the fuel island so I could do some laundry). It is so hit and miss that you can't predict when it's gonna strike. And according to my dispatcher, he has several drivers that have units that aren't calculating hours correctly. He can look at the hours on the system and they are different than the one's on the dash units...

Once you leave SPD, I'm sure all the Samsara units they have will start working correctly, ha!

Seriously though, I too have been having similar issues after my company updated our Samsara units..

Funny you would say that...I have often referred to myself as the human computer virus because electronics seem to have issues when I am around, even if I am not using them.

And...####ing Flying Peelot is still refusing to let me fuel, and Love's wants the 1st use of a new fuel card that is added to the app to be a swipe to verify it is you...plus I don't have enough fuel to even make Rancho to drop this load or get a new fuel card sent to me....I am actually looking for u-store it locations to put my personal crap in so I can just Uber to the airport and say F-U this nightmare of a corporation (and I mean Daseke), I have never in all my years out here had such a difficult time doing the most basic of things as I do here, and the worst of the problems started after Daseke partnered us with the Fargo F-tards

Almost 3 hours later, I am still sitting here in Barstow waiting for a decision on what to do about this fuel card issue. Was specifically told NOT to head to Rancho until told otherwise. And another problem, I-15 sb is backed up from almost Cajon to almost Victorville. It will take me 2+ hours to get to the yard if that is where they're sending me...then 6 hours to the customer, and because it is a construction site, no on site parking, so getting thru to Rancho then up to the nearest truckstop to the customer then a break...it's gonna be a push to deliver by my pinpoint delivery tomorrow.

If i knew you were in Barstow yesterday, I would’ve swung by and said hi. I hit the truck wash there at about 4:30 yesterday afternoon

They finally got it to where I could get some fuel, at the T/A in Barstow. They were gonna have me run thru Rancho and pick another new fuel card up, but with all the waiting for a decision and the big backup on I-15 there was no way I would make it thru the traffic, pick up my new card, get back out of town and get near the customer with enough time to get a break in and still deliver on time...so they released my current replacement card for use at the T/A...and it went thru 1st try. Now they want me to close all my rewards cards and accounts for all truckstops and start fresh with all new accounts and rewards cards. Which ain't gonna happen because I have had the Pilot account for over a decade and my current pilot points card has a perpetual 15 showers that never expire. I have had the same 15 showers since my 1st year at Shaffer, so I am not losing them because of their ####ed up fuel card system. I believe they got the hint when I nonchalantly said getting a different job would be less of a hassle then changing my rewards world.
