Cajon wasn't the problem, they're doing construction in the Hesperia area and on top of that they closed one lane and then had some vehicles play bumper cars in the backup.

With today's Samsara episode of "where's Snackbar" it was a little different. It screwed up the location of my mid-trip load check, and put me on duty (without warning) while driving again, while going thru the Tehachapi scales. So I did an experiment. I rebooted once...then it changed all of yesterday's time in Barstow to "no location found", but corrected my mid trip location. I rebooted again and it corrected all the Barstow location info, but then changed my mid-trip location to 2 different locations (I was sitting in the same parking spot in the Coalinga rest area)...how do we get any kind of attention from the right people to get this straightened out?... obviously SPD/Daseke doesn't give a crap about the problem...

My company uses Samsara as well. The only issue I’ve ever had was a few years ago it wasn’t allowing me to split break. The solution was that I had to switch my phone to automatically adjust time zone for my location. Never had an issue since then.

Each request for an extension under this section must be signed by the motor carrier and must contain:
they can file an extension with the FMCSA, sounds like a pain. Especially because the whole issue could be resolved with a simple annotation. At least that’s my opinion.
