When Jim Cantore shows up to Florida for a hurricane and he’s in your town, breathe a sigh of relief because he never gets it right :). 100 miles to the north or south, yall better baton down the hatches.

Fortunately I was looking away from it when it hit me...it was one of the first bungees that I was securing the front part of the rear tarp to hold it forward...not a good way to start a tarp job.

Just enough to piss you off! I hate bungees.

I sure hope this guy doesn’t get jealous of my big ol’ Kenworth parked next to his. IMG_7603.jpeg
Made it to east central Wyoming from central Kansas today. Fought a bit of ice this morning but overall it wasn’t bad. Only slid one time coming into Wray Colorado when light changed on me. With 44,000 on my drives I don’t think I ever broke traction on acceleration today. Overall the wrap is holding up much better than expected. I fixed a few spots the first night but not that the wrap is dirty, it is what it is. IMG_7599.jpeg

Coming across TX yesterday, where I-20 merges with I-10 east of Van Horn, they have so much salt spray pretreatment down, it almost looks like a road outside a limestone quarry. The brand new black asphalt is gray. I looked at the forecast for that area, they're not expecting any frozen precipitation for the next 10 days. In fact, there was only a marginal chance of plain ole rain.

hope not dumb twucker Thanks this.

Sounds like someone has to justify an expense.

I’m just imagining an indecent proposition to a snake resulting in a tail slap to the face. You know that Lot Lizards aren’t actually lizards right?
Don’t mind me, I’m just like this.

Not going to Rancho. Picking up in Tolleson, AZ in the morning going to Spanaway and Arlington WA. And by the looks of the 7 day forecast, that's about the only area not being crapped on by Mother Nature. If I would have gotted a load back east, the next system coming thru would have been raining, iceing and snowing on my parade.

    Lonesome and Knucklehead Thank this.

I’m in Arkansas right now and besides for some snow flurries in western OK, it’s been mostly sun all along I-40 since Barstow
