It could be the same "package", at least from all appearances.

Say you go into McDonalds on December 31 and order a Big Mac. You get two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun. On January 1, you again order a Big Mac. This time you get two all beef patties, ketchup, lettuce, only 1 slice of cheese, double the pickles, but no onions all on a poppy seed bun. McDonalds doesn't understand why you are perplexed/miffed, but offers to make the substitutions for a substantial fee.

That's what health insurers do every year - they 'tweak' the plan in subtle ways that are inscrutable to a lay person until they try and use their health insurance. My friend's kid has Type 1 diabetes, last year his insurance company discontinued coverage for her glucose monitor. Just like you he had made no changes to his health care options, but the plan changed how the monitor was classified, thus making it non covered until they jumped through a bunch of hoops while juggling a duck wearing a fez. It's a scam where the insurer hopes you either just pay out of pocket or switch to the cheaper alternative that may or may not be as effective.

What were you supposed to be picking up?

I think there will be a lot more sharing of freight between tfi companies, to be determined if that’s a good thing or not. I hear we may already have a bunch of Canadian freight in the works. Time to dust that passport off @supersnackbar

We made it most of the way across SK today. They detoured us around most of the major towns on gravel (snowy) grid roads. All but one was basically straight, flat, and boring. The last one about cost me a set of shorts.

642 was a different story. There were a couple of sweeping turns with high banking that I was able to ride the high side with no problem. Keep in mind this load is 17’ tall with half the weight in the top two feet. Banked turns make me pucker. After the sweepers the road banked way down to a skinny bridge and a left curve then “straight” up. About time I’m to the bottom and committed my pilot car says “that’s a funny place to park a trailer”. Off to the right and about 100’ off the road was a pressure vessel on a platform trailer. Similar to this, about where the pin is in the map picture IMG_7616.jpeg
Best I can tell they spun out going up the hill and slid back down, or they came off to fast and couldn’t make the turn. I’m not sure which would ride would suck more. They lucky kept it upright but the hitch from one of the trucks was mangled up in the ditch.

I had no idea how steep that hill was and kept dropping gears (well my auto did) and topped the hill at 9mph and never spun once. I’m glad I have 46k on my drives. Started the trip at 13/44 but SK would only give us 12,200 on the steers so I had to slide my 5th wheel back. We need some wider front tires on this truck.

might chain up on the next trip depending on how the road conditions are. I’d sure ####ing hate to slide down that hill backwards!

I still have a few years on my Passport card, and it's in my wallet.

As far as my load, I have joist hangers and nail plates (the kind with the spikes so you don't need nails). The joist hangers are in boxes, but the nail plates are grouped together, banded in bunches and stacked on their sides, then shrink-wrapped on a pallet with cardboard corner board. Ended up using all but two of my large V-boards, and a bunch of padding. I managed to make it to the Railroad Pass truckstop outside Henderson. It's #### windy coming up US-93. I hope it isn't this windy going up the goat trail route between N. Las Vegas and Twin Falls tomorrow.

Years ago I was between jobs and my atorvastatin was $300 dollars. The kid at Walgreens scanned a Good RX card and it dropped to $27 dollars. My BCBS from my employer kicked in shortly thereafter but yea, I’d definitely recommend Good RX to anyone without insurance.

We used it the beginning of last year when I was waiting for my new insurance to kick in. Same as you for the same prescription and the same pricing. Highly recommend it.
