I did find out a few things.

1). We no longer need that sticker for the GA amber light permit.

2). I am not the only person that has had the additional deductions screwed up. Once they started looking into it, there were quite a few of us. Haven't heard a peep about sick pay amount, but HR went home before I could see if she heard back.

Hard to believe an established trucking company like TFI, with the number of US based carriers it owns, would have such a problem processing payroll correctly. Doesn't bode well for the future if they screwed up something as routine as optional coverage deductions. I think the days of error free payroll is a thing of the past. Before all this switching around, SPD's payroll rarely ever screwed up, and if they did, it was something as small as overlooking a reimbursement.

I’m wondering if SPD might have lost a contract. I’ve only seen one of your trucks at Collins Aerospace in Jamestown, NoDak in over 2 months. Saw one there Tuesday afternoon.

Lately it’s been more Dahl Transport than SPD there.

“I was told for right now in this transition period all time off is being paid at the default rate based on tenure.” Is the response I got from payroll. I’m still fighting that battle though. We are supposed to be paid a rolling average of the last years wages.

my HSA deductions got missed for the first part of last year and tfi wasn’t involved yet. It happens and they got it corrected when it was brought to spd’s attention.

They're out of central FL somewhere. I never gave them a 2nd look once I found out they take money out of the driver's pay for an escrow account in case the driver has any accidents or freight claims. Kind of a big bright red flag in my book.

Apparently my DEF issue was either a bad tank of liquid or an intermittent issue. I last filled up over 1000 miles ago and I am just under 3/4 tank.

I’m going to show my age to all you old timers here.

I’m in Belle Fourche, Sd at the Mid America travel plaza waiting for the other driver to bring me the next cooler to Canada. I needed to do laundry so I came up to the drivers lounge. Nothing special, looks like a bunch of used furniture that you would see in a college frat house.

the weird part is there are 6 hotel rooms up stairs. I’m sure that was more
Common in the past but the beds are made and they look like they are ready to be rented out. Doors standing wide open. Weird.
