IL trade ya snackbar . We don't even have conestogas . And when a guy pisses dispatch off, he will be getting la - phx and back runs all week with full tarps on all the loads... lol

They did that to me my first month here with the company. Haven't got it since. Guess i passed the test. If I learned anything about trucking in my short time out here, is the #### sandwich taste good with extra mustard, and I will eat it with a smile on my face.

When I 1st moved to FL in '92, we had the storm of the century the following March. We had snow flurries and temps in the teens. All the locals were still talking about the snow storm that hit the area in the 80's, where they only got a couple inches, but "it layed on the roads for a couple days"...all the interstates were closed and all the churches were open as storm shelters for travelers who couldn't get thru because they have 0 equipment for such things. My neighbor at the time said he had a 1 ton dump truck, and he was loading sand out of his field into the dump box and spreading it on our local roads.

Picking up shingles headed to Loveland, CO. Then probably deadhead back to my -favorite- terminal. Worked out great miles wise. There was a partial load to MI, but needed some other freight which might have prevented me from delivering all of it by payroll cutoff...other than this being a heavy load, it works out just fine for me and my miles.

And the winds are cranking up out here...will be glad to get over the mountains and a little further inland.

D.Tibbitt, Lonesome and Knucklehead Thank this.

Last time I was in Ranch i should have taken the tarped shingle load to Denver. It would have been way less headaches then the military load I got.
