Even if u stay under 5mph ? That's bs if they have it set like that. Most of my time loading and unloading I creep around at 4.5 mph

I saw a recent sms for SPD and it looks like maybe they multiplied it ? Can’t seem to find one incident with that many points on it.

This is why I love the local game. I don’t give a flying flock what my logs say. I use Samsara on my phone and basically don’t touch the logs until it’s time for pre and post trips.

I can't remember last time I used PC , because I always get dinged for it . I even had a cali inspector on my last inspection tell me I was using an illegal use of yard move while I was moving around at a steel mill... I tried to nicely educate him, that this is what yard move was invented for, but it fell on deaf ears
He decided not to write me up for it after i say we will data q it. Not sure if he was just being a jerk or really that uneducated.

As far as I’ve heard, all the open deck trucks are going to white kenworths and the van carriers are going to white freightliners. All with the same red and blue swoops.

I call ######## on that many points for 1 driver, even if it was multiplied. And if there were that many PC violations, then Drew needs to be relieved of his log book auditing duties. If it was one guy, and he had a bunch of other violations, then why the #### take away everybodys PC. Hell, Drew called me a while back because he said I shouldn't use PC to move around the Arlington yard. He said a DOT cop would question it, he told me to put down shopping or Walmart. I told him unequivocally NO. I won't falsify my logs. I told him to look at my location. I moved 0.1 of a mile (from the bobtail area to the dumpster). I said a DOT cop would find it more suspicious that Walmart was .1 of a mile from our yard, and that we had a private entrance.

I personally think this is an excuse to stop PC. Wylie has always hated drivers having it. When Moore got assimilated, the general freight side of Wylie didn't have it, but us glass haulers did, and that was the 1st thing they threatened to get rid of any time they wanted to bully us into doing something a different way than what Moore trained us to do. Especially after we drivers got one of the loading supervisors fired because he was securing the glass wrong and causing freight claims. When Moores glass safety manager confronted him about it, he went to Fargo...but still ended up losing his job over it because he refused to do it right.

A Central Oregon driver at TMX said they had a bunch of white Freightliner condos in their back lot all logo'd and ready to go. It might be like it was a few years ago when trucks weren't being produced quick enough and companies bought what they could get their hands on. Either way, they can buy a fleet of horse and buggie rigs. I have absolutely no intention of being here much past the end of the month.

As far as working for His Hiney, I couldn't. I get a serious reaction to ######## and arrogance. Both cause sporadic flailing of my arms closely resembling a hay maker punch, and occasionally it causes my right knee to jump up about crotch high. I wouldn't want to get arrested because it appeared that I was trying to assault him.

I also talked to another cotc driver and he said he didn’t see any freightliners, just KW’s so who knows. It’s kind of moot anyway, for the general freight guys there seems to be little say in what they get. I have little hope for any of the “specialized” guys like myself. We get along just fine 98% of the time with regular freight trucks.

you two agree on a lot more then you know. About 15 years ago he chucked a set of keys at the guy who’s the top dog at Wylie’s head as hard as he could. I guess the old saying “don’t burn bridges” doesn’t always apply.
