He could run for one of those Chicago hotshot companies. Then he could be in a White Dodge!

Tbat's a double whammy. I own a '16 Ram 1500, and swear I will never drive (or own) another one, I consider it serving some of my time in Purgatory every time I drive it.

i had a ‘24 Ram as a rental vehicle last year. 15k miles and the tranny shifted funny sometimes. I don’t know if it’s because i’m not used to driving late model vehicles or because of Chrysler quality, or rather lack thereof. 5.7 Hemi had some balls though. It was a Laramie trim too so it had leather, heated/cooled seats, etc. IMG_4074.jpeg

My neighbor across the street thinks she’s hot #### because she has a Ram Rebel that makes a lot of noise…that she drives to work and back. And want to know the kicker? She traded in a Tacoma for it. I’m gonna laugh in her face when that Ram starts to fall apart

I would’ve kept that Tacoma… Like you say she’s gonna regret it it’s not if but when…

My roommate has a 79 Chevy pickup that’s still going down the road. And it’s a Big 10 model. Definitely don’t make them like they used to IMG_4883.jpeg

Well I made it to the yard in wa. For some reason the customer doesn’t want their trucks until Wednesday. I guess someone else can deliver it, I dropped it where the empty rgns go.

The main loaded line is filled with conastogas that have storage freight or trucks hooked to trailers. The secondary loaded spot is 3 deep with conastogas. Our yard is this ####ty loose gravel that the local government required us to put in for drainage. If I dropped the rgn there no one would be able to get under it. #### it, it’s down on the end with the neck sticking out over the paved road. Next to all the red tagged specialized equipment that we refuse to fix here in wa. There’s not a single specialized trailer here that’s not red tagged or for local use only. Looks like a flatbed or step deck load is in my future.

    ##### fest over.

115,000 miles on ours and the high dollar A/C has gone out twice. The engineers decided the oil filter housing/cooler that is bolted directly to the top of the block (under the intake) should be made out of plastic, so now it marks it's territory with a significant oil leak. The radiator has been replaced twice. And I have some unsettling slack in the drive line (haven't checked yet to see if it's the output of the trans or a pinion issue). My son-in-law's mom has the same model only 4wd with a hemi. Her a/c just went out (with 80k miles) and her transmission has been replaced twice. He had an '09 1500 with a Hemi. He had the rear end replaced twice, the transmission replaced once and the OEM front wheel assembly went out 3 times.(They don't make them with replaceable front bearings, you have to remove the front hub assembly from the ball joints and replace the entire assembly.). I hate Rams, once Fiat bought them they are junk.

They even went further downhill under Stellantis. Can’t really recommend a Ford or Chevy truck these days because they both have their own problems. Even Toyota is having problems with the new Tundra

Mine’s been a good one fortunately. The only things I’ve replaced in 145K miles have been the batteries and the exhaust when I did the delete.
