For a matter of fact I’ve been back over here as well for a year and for most part i have not had any issues..on pace to hit right at about 127k miles and taking off nearly 70 days in one year…things have changed for the better are they perfect no but they have shown me that they are correcting issues that come up including firing people even drivers who aren’t doing their jobs…we just got a pay raise in December and we’re expecting to get another one this year as well..

My truck i can press the accelerator to bypass the e-coast ccrap, and yeah the side radar is annoying. Trying to get over and throwing the turn indicator on so some jackwad doesn't zoom in ugh. Im actually on track to get the bonus 2 quarters in a row.

Our new Cascadia’s has the side radar and lane keep assist stuff but thankfully none of that e-coast crap. Plus you can set how much you want to run over set cruise before the truck puts the jakes on

On the cascadia i just got out of you could go into the menu over to settings and down to safety and you could turn off the side radar so it doesnt go off. Have to do it every time you shut the truck off

I couldn't wait. The 1st half of last year at SPD (after their pay change), started a drain on my savings every paycheck. After June, when I started running 3 months at a time, the savings drain stopped, but I wasn't putting very much back in to rebuild it. Then, after Thanksgiving the drain opened again. After the 1st of the year, when the Canuks started screwing up the weekly pay, 5 of my 8 paychecks were under $1000 gross (net was in the $500's). I had to find something fast, it doesn't take long to run out of savings when your taking a 66% pay cut for months at a time

desperate times call for desperate measures. I have been watching the pay offered on job ads drop for quite a while, with all the political crap going on, the economy isn't getting any better, so I came here because I know their system and their expectations...better the devil you know.

I can't afford to switch to FCC. They make you wait 60+ days for insurance, which realistically would end up being almost 90 days depending on when I came over..on top of all the loss of pay to switch jobs, I am footing the cost of all my wife's prescriptions 100% out of pocket. Were talking north of $1000/mo, plus 2 require she has blood work done every 90 days(and not in the same month). Here it's only a 30 day wait for insurance

of the 5-6000 trucks Creaffer has, only 300 or so are KW. The chance of getting one is slightly higher than winning the lottery

And, these air ride reefers ride rough enough in a Freightliner, I don't ever want to pull a spring ride plate trailer ever again.

Mine works that way too...but it eliminates the jake. And without the turn signal, then you get that #### lane departure growl, which I forget about until it goes off and scares the crap out of me because I think I've hit something.

Ours are non-adjustable. I have seen the setting you're referring to, but it can't be changed.

miles are the bright spot. Even with sitting a couple days with that load I eventually t-called in Indy, I will have north of 2700 miles plus the pay for driving the rental car from Mechanicsburg to Columbus to pick up my truck. My next load is a bit of a drag, picks up after 2200 tonight in Edwardsville, but live unloads Friday afternoon in Cleveland TN. Only 470 miles. I am hoping they decide to t-call it in Lenoir if I hussle it down there by midday Thursday.

@motocross25 correct me if I’m wrong, but wouldn’t Paul put a truck on in Florida and run him all over this great country? I know @supersnackbar needs insurance offered quickly so maybe that’s a deal breaker, but an old hand like him would do well in the dump world in my opinion.

    motocross25 Thanks this.
