They bought a 40 truck pneumatic company out of Clay Center NE for some reason. And now the company trucks are white with a red frame and that style logo just like the rest.

 

I hope for the drivers’ sake they don’t botch the Borgification. Just before I started at Schneider they had bought International Transport and tried to fold it in with their flatbed division and promptly lost most of the business trying to dispatch specialized freight like general freight. A few years later they gave up on the flatbed idea entirely and sold off their Specialized operation to Maverick.

 

Just trying to fit in with the rest of the window lickers.

 

Nobody can F' up an acquisition quite like Big Orange. The execs just can't wrap their heads around the idea that not all trucking is the same, and they won't listen to anyone who tries to educate them.
