I have ran the condo high trucks and currently run a midroof. The midroofs are easier to stay cool in during the hot months. The condos can get pretty warm on the top bunks.

On the chemical side at least you’re going to find very few companies that will let you have passengers, and you’re going to be in a hotel every night if you’re training otr.

Running chemical tanker, I have been to some places where a high rise, or condo, would not be able to drive under the rack to load. Some places are set up so you could bypass the rack and back in. But I have been to a couple places that just won't load those tall trucks.

Try sleeping in either bunk with a double bunk midroof. One of our bulk trainers said he had more space and better ventilation on the submarine.

    What about for teams?

How can you find out the height of a so-called mid-roof truck? If you know the make, model and year of truck, is the information available online to tell you the height from floor to ceiling?

My main concern is sharing the truck with a teammate or rider. Sometimes I like to do exercizes in the truck too like shoulder presses with dumbells, especially if the weather is bad outside or there are a lot of people and I don't want them watching. My reach above my head is easily over 7 feet. Probably would need 8ft to accomodate the size of the dumbells too.

Not gonna’ work for you, solo or team. Most are only ~6-1/2’ interior height.

    You mean condo trucks?
Some racks you gotta back under.
Some won’t let you back under.
