I can’t imagine any beverage driver working 70hrs a week! I may have done a few 10-11hrs days in the summer but it was rare in my experience. This time of year my buddies locally are all done by 1-1:30 at the latest.

I did the math. If I work 50 hours a week at my current straight pay job at 31.75.
It’s like a $10 raise, and you have to hand unloading everything. No so enticing; looks like the freight overlords have it figured out. -
I used to work for then a decade ago, I'm Nashville, before they took the name Keurig. Back then it was pretty much slinging cases in the gas stations and small stores. It was a very small rate per hour and the rest of me money was commissioned, I was paid based on how many cases were on my truck. Whatever got delivered, I was paid for. Some guys did bulk, and most other guys did the gas station routes. It was OK for me. I did it for a year and was fired for a DOT violation that I served a suspension for previously. I can't remember what it was, but it led to me going back OTR. Which I prefer anyway..overall it was a good job. 30 bucks an hour plus overtime is nice if your body holds up. I'd say go for it.
