The greatest of all birds...Blue Parrot is the answer
NavigatorWife and Diesel Dave Thank this. -
I'd roll with these.
Very inconspicuous.
jtaran06, TROOPER to TRUCKER, NavigatorWife and 1 other person Thank this. -
1We have Blue Parrots, B250-XT+
I am not sure if they are as noise cancelling as the old model my husband had or not, such as when he has the radio on, or I have the TV on. Or it could be the phones themselves that cancel that out. Otherwise they are pretty good. I think they were around $129.00 at the truckstops.
I had a set from Plantronics that he swore were garbled sounding all the time.
Motorola I liked because you could wear it and it was light weight, complained about them.
Blue Parrot a lot better, still have to make sure I have them moved around in the right position sometimes, but otherwise they sound better and pickup better. -
I've had the blue tiger elite for 2 years now with no issues. And it's very comfortable.
NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
I think the blue tiger is overrated. This is my second one and I've had issues with it already.
1st. The microphone boom cover doesnt stay on. I took another one off from my older bluetooth and it still doesnt work.
2nd. I've had issues with it cutting off the connection between my phone and the headset. Basically anytime I start or Stop my engine the signal would disconnect but not end the call, and I would have to reconnect the bluetooth too my phone.
3rd. I've gotten complaints of people not hearing me well. Some have said that it sounds like I'm speaking far away from the bluetooth. I have the boom mic as close too my mouth, and I've still gotten complaints over it.
I'm not so sure what the deal is with this crappy thing but its getting irritating. The fact that I cant go from the front of my cab to the back of the trailer without loosing signal is BS. The next time I'm ever in Denton TX TA, and they tell me I forgot my bluetooth. I'll give them the could shoulder.NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
I just use the earbuds that came with my iPhone. Works fine... the LG Tone was excellent too until I accidentally ran it over. I don't get why people spend all this extra money on a single headphone setup. You can't properly listen to music with them and they are hideous.
