California wide shoulder parking ticket

Parking on the shoulder for 30 minute break is a little crazy. Pay the ticket and learn not to do that again. I don't understand how that even seemed like a good idea.

 

The divided section east of the Pilot is marked Emergency Parking Only, but the 2 lane section is not, unless CalTrans or LA County public Works went out there and put up some new signs.

 

I parked on an on-ramp just past the rest area on SB I-15 near Cima Road and a CHP rolled up and got on the loudspeaker and said parking on the ramp is a $650 ticket.

 

Out on 40 they seem more lax about the drivers parking on the ramps. hmmm good to know, will be avoiding parking on the ramps myself.
