I pretty much wanna know what the daily routine is for a OD driver
Do they go from terminal to terminal drop trailer and hook back up and bring to another terminal?
i'm looking for a driving job that's like (example) pick up preload in dallas bring to el paso drop at a terminal no live unload , Take 10 hour break pick up preload at terminal. Then back to dallas... back and forth.. not sure if its called line haul or relay

Either meet and turn (you meet a driver midway and swap sets), or linehaul (you take it the whole way).

Easiest way to make $ driving - way better than OTR.

Team it, and really beat the house odds.

Takes hard work though. No piddling about in truck stops and taking nana naps.

Longarm, lagbrosdetmi and Kolorado Thank this.

Pick up and delivery driver - also called P&D. Pulls 28, 48 or 53 trailers in a short radius to pick up and deliver shipments, one or two pallets/drums/pieces at a time. Day cab.

SVC Mileage Line Haul Driver - I assume these are the 'linehaul' drivers that either 'meet and turn', or go the whole way through, terminal to terminal.

Container Drayage - I have no idea of this operation, never met any drivers or had anything to do with it. I guess it's picking up and delivering containers from the port.

I no longer work for them. We were based in SE Kansas.

Indy has a beautiful new terminal - recently expanded - huge.

    AnthonyM757 Thanks this.

Why'd you leave, if you don't mind me asking? Are you still doing LTL?
