Carrier 7500 X4 Heat Mode Question

    I ran my reefer on 80 degrees recently just to see what would happen, but of course it was a nice day to begin with, it did get very hot inside the reefer.

    When I was a dispatcher we had issues with the new Carriers doing weird things with the temp and shutting down. Turned out to be the same thing, just needed a software update.

    Youd wanna make sure you hear the heat valve(sv4) open. It's the valve behind the heat exchanger. You will hear it his. Also it could be due to how cold it is the unit is unable to create high enough discharge pressure. I am a reefer mechanic btw. I know a few tips to help if youd like to know a few

    Like I said, it turned out to be a bug in the software that was applied to certain generations. Flashed in the prior [original] software and issue went away.
