Why didn't you ask the question before you paid for CDL school?

Congrats, trucking sometimes includes real life lessons.
This is one of them, DO NOT SPEED.

    How old are you?

    16?

    18?

We have TOO MANY crap drivers, too many moron drivers, go to any truck stop and smell what life is like and then realize that this is a profession for many, a lot of good drivers and owners have a lot of pride, do NOT ruin it for them.

Good, I would still continue with school, the advice was given - get a lawyer, get it reduced to a non-moving violation even if you have to pay more money, and do community service for 6 months.

Here is why, the ticket is already issued, the adjudication has not yet taken place and when someone like me runs a background check, it appears. AND that's what my insurance company sees when they do the same thing. If it is reduced to say 15 over, it still is a problem so get it to a non-moving violation even if you have to get on your knees and beg.

I was going to mention this, but I would rather tell the OP that he will have to learn how to manage his time while driving a truck unless of course, he aspires to be a steering wheel holder, which time doesn't matter.

So how much time did you really gain by going 25 over?

Don't feel bad. This industry has a massive turnover rate. Hope you didn't pay a school for it though.

That's a lot better than wasting years getting a college degree and later realizing that was a complete waste of time. (Ask me how I know.)

Late to class and tries to get there on time, and it is a losing battle.
    Poor trip planning skills.

If you're already late, speeding isn't gna make you get there on time.

So apparently they are unable to test you if you get any ticket while holding CLP at least here. Coming from examiner so it might be true
