Hell I may have no choice but too ride it out myself. I thought this sucker was going east now its going west. So I guess I'll join you paul.

 

It only took about 9 hours to go 270 miles today... They close westrock at Fernandina Beach so they had me take it to westrock in Jacksonville... Parked for the night at the Florida Georgia Line.

Now get this... Going back down to Ocala to pick up a load to take to Mccalla Alabama... The good news is it should be very easy to go back down south the bad news is more people will be leaving Florida tomorrow.


Doesn't pick up till 2100 tomorrow night which means I'll do a night drive all the way to Birmingham/mccalla... The roads will still be busy but hopefully not real busy like the daytime has been

 

I can't figure out why the song "highway to the danger zone" keeps playing around in my head

There is a little known Jimmy Buffett song about Surfing in a hurricane...hell,they may be singing that on the Tennessee River in Chattanooga the way this storm is heading... time to kick the tires and light the fires... be safe you all... especially Pauldo... don't want you to cut your hand on a bottle cap!!!

 

Let's see... Where the hell did I put that rain gear... It's still nice here but I just got pre-planned for the next 5 days... Alabama the North Carolina and back to Arkansas...

Lesson learned don't complain about the planners on social media... They're sitting high and dry and Joplin laughing at me!
