So I get to my relay in Fargo, no trailer attached to the relay driver... It takes my load and leave and I'm sitting there with no trailer on the board. The relay driver had crashed the trailer earlier in the day into an overhang at a Walmart.

18 hours later I get a load going to somewhere in Arkansas and I figured Joplin is going to be my relay so I can get my truck... I accept the load by plugging in trailer number 00000. I get a message back asking what trailer I have and I replied 00000, same as last night when I went on the board same as this morning when I accepted the load... Load unassigned.

A couple of hours later almost noon, I get a dispatch to Blaine, Minnesota right near Minneapolis.

I got to say this is the nicest trailer shop I have ever been to... Surrounded by trees, very quiet, so I'm spending the night in a trailer shop parking lot it don't get no better than this...

Picking up in the morning and taking it down to Jopmo and I'm getting my truck fixed.

The sun just went down, it's still in the high 70s, and I'm in Minnesota at the end of September... Go figure... No complaints

 

Heat advisory in Minneapolis today... glad I am heading south so I can cool off...

 

Awww man. You're stuck idling. What a shame.

 

Should be a cold drizzle this time of year.... I'm wearing shorts, tee shirt, and boat shoes... no complaints here.

 

A buddy of mine started in Utah or maybe Wyoming this morning, 39 degrees and raining...he finished in Nebraska, 94 degrees.

I've seen that kind of swing going from mountains to desert, but never from mountains to prairie.

 

Good point, and normally it doesnt get that hot in the prairie this time of year.

 

I'll do you one better. Left Indy one afternoon it was 86. By the time I arrived in the Chicago area it was 45. That was a heck of a storm to drive through.

 

Jopmo... I expect to end up in a motel before this weekend is over... I think I'll get the jacuzzi suite, an appointment at the day spas, mani-pedi, the works... Keeker will be so jealous... Man, I Feel Like a Woman
