CFI Driver's What's Your 20? (2017 edition)

Trying out a new route tomorrow morning to a customer I’ve been to a bunch of times. At the Spiceland, IN Flying J tonight. Going to head down IN3 in the morning. Had the time, so why not? I usually take 75 to 275 to 74. Wasn’t dealing with that short on time at 17:30 tonight. Got started from Walton, KY before sunrise. Drove up to MI and delivered my load, then went and picked one up. Made it all the way back down here. 620 miles, 1 delivery and 1 pick up. Good day. Got parked just before sunset.

 

At home and its been like this for almost a week. I'll be back at it monday.

 

Well, I am in C Dubs backyard. Flying vajayjay in Jackson Georgia... The temperature dropped 25 degrees in the last 70 miles... I told my boss I didn't want to go to St Louis even though it's a good trip out of Miami... It's just way too far off of I-10 for my liking.

Boss says, look at the good side... We've turned on your fuel card for anti gel a week early...

But, but, but, it means I got to wear long pants boss... He replies, anti-gel Rooster

If I have to shut down for snow or ice before January 1st, I will retire early... Facepalm shaking my head

Didn't catch the game. I was on a guys golf weekend once... had tickets to watch apractice round at the Masters. We played golf two days and went to the Masters on the third day.

Coincidentally, it was also final four weekend being played in Atlanta. The Gators were in the final four. A couple of the guys in our group actually went in to watch the basketball games at night and I stayed out in Athens at our hotel and went to a sports bar to watch... I walked in wearing my gator hat.

Bartender says you're not welcome here with that hat on you're in dog country.

I've said calm down junior. If the Bulldogs were in it and the Gators weren't, I'd be rooting for the Bulldogs... It's an SEC thing.

Dropped another 15 degrees while I was sleeping...brrr... That floor was cold when I hit it this morning could have used Surfer Joe to fire up the heaters while I slept when it got to a certain temperature... I'm sure he wouldn't have minded he wasn't doing anything else useful...

Well that does it, it's big boy britches... I gotta sweet-talk Jopmo into a warm climate trip.

 

Pilot, MT Vernon, IL... lots of food choices on this corner... decisions... what's a Rooster to do

 

I keep hearing those Chili’s commercials. I would go there.


We’re having bacon and french toast here at the house tonight. Going to watch football while we eat. Heading to Troy,IN tomorrow. Have to sleep at the shipper because there’s nowhere else to go.

 

Wanted to watch Dallas and Washington... figured Applebee's would be the quietest... I think I guessed right... plus half price wings.. jackpot!!!

 

That’s what we’re watching right now. Will be starting dinner in a little while. The Lions are on at 8.
