You’re going to have the same drama at every job and most are probably way worse than anything we might encounter
Go sit at a cub next to Karen for a week and you’ll see how mindless people are
Most couldn’t give you directions to their homes. The live here, work right over there and shop there
That’s their Dailey lives and conversations are. What did you do this weekend etc
We all predicted exactly what’s happening
Many jumped into business who had no clue
I get you have to try and if you fail don’t quit, dust off and go at it again
Most wealthy people failed many many times before making it
The difference is they kept taking the falls as education not failure
Personally I’ve won and lost through life but I’d like to think I’ve won more than lost and if nothing else I’m at a break even but at 56 I’ve worked for my self since 14 minus a couple months here and there where I took a management position but it came down to the Karen thing
Closing up shop, or thinking about it?

I have been that way my whole life as well. Only way I have been able to control it is when I have been on my own doing my own thing or being in charge of everything. I could never work for anyone that breaths down my back. I have had one job since I got out of prison that was like that. Was the manager for a solid surface company and they drove me crazy in 2 months. Said f that and left and will never work for someone like that again. I would be homeless before doing that again because I would end up in prison for snapping on them.Shanebklyn, Another Canadian driver, 86scotty and 7 others Thank this.

The 80's was the best music, dope, sex ever.
You could still get a bad ### muscle car very reasonable as well. -
Not pleased to hear all this Joey. I understand though, I only just pulled out of a 3 month funk where my stomach knotted every time I looked at my truck.
A good guy told me years back, at least with LS, you can get all huffy, or sick of it, go park the truck out of sight and come back to it when you’re ready.
I think the bathroom remodel restored a little faith in myself that I am capable of other skills, and the superload helped me to know there’s more to learn.
I hope you find your way back to peace, or the next step. You haven’t failed, you’ve learned.
And honestly I think it takes a real man and smart businessman to know when to hold, fold or run. Too many are just in denial until the foreclosure notice arrives.Dadetrucking305, Tug Toy, singlescrewshaker and 21 others Thank this. -
