Con-Way Truckload Drivers: What's Your 20? (2014 edition)

I noticed in a magazine today a job ad for CFI. So are they changing everything from Truckload back to CFI? The ad listed the terminals they have with the exemption of Lancaster, Texas. How long ago did they get rid of the Lancaster Terminal?

 

Maybe a year and a half...replaced it with a yard in NE Dallas off Miller Rd.

 

Wow so that's how Bruce and Tiffany do things now

 

Is it just a drop yard like KC and Pocahontas or is a actual terminal with showers etc etc?

 

Security guard,showers lounge, just no dispatch, no fuel

 

Yeah they had issues supposedly with the city of lancaster tax wise. I miss that terminal. A perfect spot in the dallas area IMO.

Modot more like Nodot. Hell MIDOT and ODOT (ohio) would be better at handling that situation. Even VDOT (virginia)would've know better. GDOT even has a slight chance but FDOT wouldnt do a #### thing.

That and it was a good view of Dallas at night. But anytime you were leaving laredo and heading north on I35 it was a good spot to do a 30min break without having to go way out of route. Let alone just the fact that it was in that location coming from just about every direction is what made that Terminal a stand out from the rest. Very convenient too take a 10hr brake.

 

Haven't wore pants since dropped that brown prison off!

Hate to displease but it is actually 70 here with lots of wind actually feels like Corpus Christie without the getting a humid wet shower and your face feeling like it is sliding off. (no wonder Terry Labonte is so wrinkly)

Been 50s 60-s and haven't seen one snow flake all winter.

Might have to call up the post office contractor and go to St Louis one weekend to get sideways.
