Con-Way Truckload Drivers: What's Your 20? (2014 edition)

Hope you all have had a good week. Ive had a very good week with Interstate. The first week with this company over the road was impressive to say the least. Every load ive had so far has had a drop and hook involved wheather pick up or delivery. Ive had two loads where they were drop and hook on both ends. If they keep this up theyre going to owe me some fifth wheel grease. Other than that a good solid busy week for me just the way I like it.

Theyre trailers are pretty decent. I had one issue with one of them but not hard to fix either. Some have air-ride some dont but i think alot of companies are ditching air-ride suspension not so sure why. Possible savings cost?

Sorry to hear that your load got there late rooster. Im thinking now that its CFI they wont be getting rid of those 2 and 3 trailers no time soon. With the sensitive of the ABS lights an all I bet road service will be getting more calls. Hows the new Atlanta yard?

 

definitely more convenient than Lawrenceville...all the doors are card protected so I couldn't get inside to see what they had...I found an open door to the shop and made my way to a restroom...I finished my drop and hook and left

Stopped in Memphis and visited with the family for 40 hours .... headed to Deer Park TX , then home later in the week ...

...getting better... Load unassigned...customer cancels two hours and 20 minutes after I got there...the bright side is I would have probably gotten to Jacksonville and got A5 stop load out of Michael's that lasted for 4 days and only went 600 miles total....my manager told me cheer up things could be worse, and so I cheered up and sure enough things got worse

 

if the opposite of moral is immoral, is the opposite of morale...immorale...had to add that new word to my spell-checker...enquiring minds want to know

sure enough, it got worse...I've been number one on the board since last night and the low they give me picks up tonight the same one that got cancelled last night...the good news is if I don't get cancelled tonight I've got a pre-planned going from Jacksonville to Laredo
