Con-Way Truckload Drivers: What's Your 20? (2014 edition)

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend. I'll be spending it with my mother of with it being mothers day weekend. Of many times I've been to Atlanta per weekend I might move back here.....Someone face palm me lol. Lord knows that will never EVER happen.

Well ..I made it home at 1445 Friday ...

Two hours unload in Moore Haven ,FL
...50 miles from the Pilot grrr ...on par with most of my broker loads to FL ...

Ok ...got a Question.... After Having possession of my original Enforcer lock and key ( since 2012 ) from Conway .... I have gone and lost my key ( in Bartow somewhere)
Any idea if any locksmith can open or do I just get it cut off and forget about it ...

I blame my dispatch for forcing me to come back out on Monday after only 2 1/2 days home ., Currently in Deer Park ,TX ....

 

Out here in Dallas/Lancaster at the pilot. I pefer the pilot over the J when im in this area. Their was literally no spots when I got here at 1700. A car was in a truck parking space, and Ironically Dallas Police told that person too move. Soon as she pulled out. I backed in....JUSTICE IS SERVED!!!

 

Now, if we can just get rid of the cows (condo on wheels), the world would be just about perfect.

Came back a day early...left at2200 last night to catch a relay in Orlando, take it to Boca Raton by 0800 today...then down to Miami to grab a load to relay in Atlanta...then catching a relay going to Manchester, NH...boss says there is more stacked on that...approx 3000 miles by next Thursday.

No complaints except lack of sleep...saw Buffett live Tuesday, home by 0200 Wednesday, up at 0700, finally caught a nap this afternoon...I'll be catching up tonight and getting back on rooster time.

 

Had a killer mahi sandwich at Seminole truck stop just north of Miami on US 27... mmm yum...sleep is calling me

 

Coming from you rooster about the condo's kinda shocks me since you live in Florida, but true none of the less. Ended the week off with a decent 2600 gross and only 2134 miles for the week loaded and empty. Now in Ft.Worth at the Pilot. Will be off this weekend with a booked load for North Carolina on Monday.

 

I like the cows when they are heading back north...My favorite cow sighting was on the Northbound shoulder, with a twisted mess of aluminum and canvas...his sun shade must have deployed at 70 mph!!!

 

Deer Park TX, again ....pick up in Tucker, GA on Friday ....spend two nights in Dolomite then came down here last night at 1230AM to get the last spot at Loves ... AGAIN...don't know how I always get so lucky !

Had a load out of same place I dropped at Cincinnati OH ...then I'm trying to headed home to FL this weekend for the holiday...... we'll see how that works out ...
