Crete Carrier - A Year In Review - Fall 2013 Going Forward

What were some of the interesting parts?

 

Crete may be getting more rail work I've done some load from the
Rail in the 4 weeks I have also seen more cameras going into trucks if I end up getting one I'm leaving crete

 

Doing a reset near st.louis

 

No pension, but a paid-for house and a few other things. I did just under $61k last year thru 12/21 when I left. And I'm not a particularly hard runner either. Income-wise, I was happy.

The 18 wheeler was a Crete truck. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved in this accident.

 

The second photo showing the back of the tractor and the trailer ripped open really makes me sick. It looks as if he was just driving along when the other guy went over the line and hit him. Prayers for all involved.

 

That wasn't the back...that was the front and the frame of the truck was beside it (in front of where the cab was laying). Appears that the rolls kept going when they collided. Very sad...shows how fast things can happen.

I like crete over all they have treated me pretty good
My only problem I have trouble getting home some times and I live in North east indiana and the length of haul is very spotty
Wish I could average 800 mile trips I was told 650 average which is ok but since I came to work to crete in November 2013 I'm averaging maybe 550 if I'm lucky
