I had to detour around it today... I know the highway was closed but didn't know what exactly was until a short while ago

No, the dark red flame looks like Ronald Reagon and the lighter colored flame to the right looks like a cow with its mouth open

I see the cow plain as day. Can see the face also but I'm not seeing Reagan.:biggrin_2559:

I am. Going OK, but I'm so ready to leave OTR I can't see straight. I just can't tolerate the stupidity out here among so-called professional drivers any longer. At the very least, I'm going home every other weekend now. Less money, but less fatigue too.

I've only been here sporadically of late...heard you've flown the Lincoln coop! Hope all is well with you!

I'm now 24 hours into an involuntary visit to the Wilmer shop. Lots of folks complaining around here and I don't get it. One guy complaining about his pay checks being short and in the same sentence explains that he won't run any loads under 800 miles. Then there's the other guy who's livid that he's been broken down here for a week... Yet he's been offered a swap TWICE. This stuff is not that complicated.

Most of the rumors I've heard about the shop here don't seem to be true. The only hiccup so far is the obviously new (and probably overworked) service writer/mechanic I dealt with when I checked in late last night wrote up the air leak and A service but neglected to write up my cracked windshield, so that gets to wait until the glass guy gets back in the morning. That's what breakdown pay is for IMHO. It happens.

Oh, and skip the Chinese delivery here. Overpriced but ok at best quality food and the delivery driver is a #####. Not that I'm complaining...

I had good luck with Wilmer. Some people just can't be pleased.
