I've got 6 days to get there, but I'm going to try to squeeze in a reset enroute. Not sure if I'll make that work or not

 

Do the reset at the end of your last full day of driving if you can. That way there is less uncertainty between you and final.

 

I don’t know man. I’m all for making money but you’ve got to balance that with psychological well being. You’ve just been given a “vacation load”. Enjoy the ride! Relax, do your 9 hours a day but then plan to do some stuff to do along the way. Looking at your route, I’d suggest an IMAX movie in Cheektowaga, NY, Rock & roll hall of fame in Cleveland, Second City in Chicago, Horseshoe Casino in Council Bluffs, IA, and the Denver Improv in Denver. Did I mention your load goes through LAS VEGAS?!? Dude! Don’t waste this. Even if you don’t want to gamble you can see a show for a reasonable price if you plan ahead. Enjoy it!!!!

That’s a great place, park at the Orleans, stay up late drinking and wake up early, drink a couple more and go bowling first thing in the morning with a buzz.
Drink all day and sleep it off and deliver.
Barstow has a nice pub in the Chile’s , they have Stella on draft and a great flatbread pizza.

 

Got the load delivered in Stockton and then Dixon, CA. They tried to get me to load in Modesto last night and get to Rancho Cucamonga for today....but I told 'em my HOS would not support that run very well. So they cancelled it off me and gave me a Lathrop, CA to Temple, TX load that picked up this morning and delivers Monday morning. Sitting at the little 76 station in Ludlow, CA tonight...I like the Dairy Queen there....

 

Pretty good last 4 days. Doing a reset today.
