Crete Carrier - A Year In Review - Fall 2013 Going Forward

No Crete asset manager has ever tried to tell me where to park.

 

They all did me on that load from Breinigsville to Connecticut.
The only way to deliver on time was to spend the night at the receiver and unload during my break

 

My Asset mis-manager never tried, but afterhours and the weekend staff use to push it like clockwork.

I'm like @Voyager1968. Unless there is restroom facilities available, I stay at the closest truckstop. My body insists that I have access to a....uh...a porcelain download station within 30 minutes of my head coming off the pillow for the day. I keep food in the truck, so that isn't an issue.

 

Maybe it’s me maybe it’s not. But in all honesty I will stay at shippers n receivers. No problem. I want the miles (all of them) and I’m not out here for a Sunday drive.
I do understand your feeling of security with a shower and stuff but I rough it. Whatever it takes I want those miles. Safe and legal.
Plus I always keep a roll a toilet paper in truck just in case. lol

 

Update I’m back driving again first time around with Crete was a lot better haven’t been out that long eye is a lot better but will never feel the same but I do see a lot better I’m hoping to get through my place more often

 

Hopefully I can manage my time out it’s been a long journey to say the least I hope no one has to have major eye surgery it was a tough recovery

 

Does Crete have any good accounts I don’t mind being otr but at some point I want to have more of a life 5-6 weeks really just burns me out

 

I’ll let the guys/girls who helped a 16 yr experienced guy who entered Crete just by their words answer that.
They will chim in.
