Crete has apparently decided to adopt Peoplenet.

Peoplenet has a smartphone app. I usually send and receive messages(which are actually emails) to op's via my phone. The messages hit my phone's app immediately after op's sends them. The problem with Peoplenet is it is totally cell based, so if someone in the office sends an important message, they need to send it as a priority message, then it hits your truck asap. If they send it low priority, then the truck's Peoplenet receives it during what is called a "datacall" which it at the hour and half hour.

Plus, I am not sure about the new tablet model Peoplenet, but the older units have a usb port on the side, and a wireless keyboard dongle can plug into so you don't have to fight a touch screen. The new ones might have it on the base or have a bluetooth option for using a bluetooth keyboard like my phone can use.

PeopleNet Seems a reliable system to lure recuits. Quite portable. I would trap females, harder workers and not near as much whining and belly aching

Today I noticed that according to my Peoplenet device, I am averaging 1.3 miles per gallon.

Seeing that my tanks hold less than 200 gallons, and I have driven nearly 500 miles since fueling, this would seem... unlikely.

Try clearing the mileage counters.... vehicle tab, engine data tab, at the bottom hit clear, then hit the "vehicle" button right beside clear, and then hit clear again. That clears the traveled miles for the solo driver and the vehicle.

Are you talking about the truck computer or the Peoplenet device?

I can try it on both, I guess.

I noticed that also, 1.2 for me and 96.60% idle time. I do idle quite a bit but not near that much
