Are you either new with the company, or based in an Eastern terminal?
If new, it seems that most new OTR drivers are sent on a lot of NE runs. If you can be on time without issues in the NE, then you will quickly get away from the new driver asset manager, and get more opportunities for long runs.

JoeyJunk Thanks this. -
How long has it been since you drove for Crete? I seem to recall you saying for a couple years now that you are an ex-Crete driver?
Sounds like you might have helped drive off a bad asset manager. Maybe other drivers have done the same?
Perhaps things have changed a little since you left? -

I haven’t had much to post getting frustrated too much 500 mile runs or less haven’t really been mountain west or west coast since I’ve been back every one who posts think I live out west I clearly state in my profile that I’m in the Fort Wayne/ new haven area when I came back it was really cool being in a semi truck again
-
What happened to the OP did he leave Crete I knew before coming back to Crete that things have changed but I really haven’t seen 2800+ miles a week I’m happy with 2400-2500 but that’s been tough I wished I could have been on paper logs again here but I’m pretty sure Crete wasn’t going to allow that again when I was on paper that was the best I’ve done here by far in 2014 I hit around 44K and I started around late March

New driver I don’t consider myself new I had major right eye surgery had 58 stitches in my right eye took over 3 years to really get going worst time in my life been back probably a year now or close to it I knew I’d never give up trucking it’s in my blood got my cdl in late 2009 I guess I’m new since I haven’t been here at Crete 5-10 years I talked to a guy who been with Crete for over 20+ years and another guy 10+ years that’s crazy I get trips out to the mountain west or west coast I wish it would be more often
-
I’m hoping to hit around 55K this year i will have to see so far I should hit around 50K I feel these short runs are burning me out I enjoy my time here but I’m looking for steadier long haul miles atleast 850+ a trip loaded

Lately it’s been around 450-700 mile trips with shags in between
