Denney Transport (48 states, Denver based)

Take it!!!! Small company, good equipment, many drivers think highly of them. You've got mostly good reviews, a reefer company almost always equals great steady miles, they run everywhere. Looks the part to me! I like the smaller companies with mega capabilities. They're thr companies that fall under the radar. They know their drivers, pay them well, and run good equipment.

 

We drive for the money my man. It's all about the miles and the money.

 

They say if it would be multiple stops coast to coast ? Hell id load up in Cali And make 9 stops heading to PA, still enjoy it .

 

Dang right, money for every stop. I'd do that also.

 

That sounds accurate. On their trailers it says that they will accept all Denver or Colorado freight whichever one. The out and back system is pretty effective. You know you'll get steady work that way most of the time

 

Walmart reefers have three zones. The doors pull up to the roof with a pulley. Pretty easy really. Usually loaded either 40° front and rear zones, 32° in the middle zone for meat and produce loads; or -20° front and rear, 32° in the middle for frozen / dairy loads. (OK, I can't remember whether there were two frozen zones or one. And that's a good thing.)

I looked at Denney once since they're in Colorado (Commerce City, just north of Denver). Can't remember why I decided not to change, probably because we were just about to enter the freight recession and the missus in her wisdom advised staying put, but also might have been because I don't like the idea of hauling reefer with almost all live loads. See their trucks all the time but have never talked to one of their drivers.
