And you see why you can’t have big pipes on trucks, they don’t fit under low bridges sometimes, LOL!

As a skate board driver. We dont need to back up to a dock to unload. So just being close to the area is good enuf for us.

Ok, Mr. manly man hood driving flatbed man card holding male type man.

Try this once. Drag a set of doubles across the entire length of the PA Turnpike through a snow storm at night, and then again going the other way without wiping out. ;)

What’s that? Bulk hazmat on board??? Sorry, the tunnels are now off limits. :D

    That’s a great point.

Not sure if I mentioned it before, but my manly large car has powerful chicken lights - and lots of them. The intensity of the light is so great it actually pushes other trucks away whilst parked.

That way, my huge biceps can work the winch bar and tighten them straps without disturbing the door slammers beside me while they catch up on My Little Pony episodes and polish their flip flops.

There’s some winter horror stories with ODFL I can probably safely tell now that time has lapsed - the Christmas Day driving around barricades on the OKTP with a Chicago white Volvo following me for company - all the while telling ME I’m crazy - is one of the better ones.

When you promised your wife we’ll be at the house for Christmas and the weather intervenes - you pull some tricks . . .

I don't pull a flatbed anymore, switched to chemical tanker, but I still park crooked whenever I have a chance. Why? Because I can.

And let me add something to that: It's one thing to park a big Pete 567 with a pusher axle and a 75-foot heavy haul tri-axle crooked. It's an entirely different thing to park a little Freightshaker with a 42-foot tank wagon crooked. I can do both things equally well. And actually, it's easier to do it with the tanker, because it turns so fast that I can get it crooked without even trying most of the time. It's my way of telling the rest of you that I don't give a ####. I'll park where I like, when I like, as crooked as I like.

Today I forgot all that since I was distracted and accidentally parked straight. A Swift driver parked crooked next to me just to rub my nose in it. #### door-swingers.

FINALLY! Another MAN that gets it!

And obviously you had to switch from flatbed man trucking because you were tired of the constant adulation and deflecting ladies underwear being thrown at you whilst simply helping America be Great Again.

I get it, I absolutely do.

Yes, I too have bulging biceps. I don't carry a winch bar on the tank truck, but I sometimes wish that I had a breaker bar to use to overcome the tremendous downward pressure on the dome lid caused by the huge negative pressure differential created when I close the dome lid after having the tank washed at over one mile in altitude in 100° heat, then driving down to sea level and opening it when it is a pleasant 62° with salty ocean breezes. As it is, I have had to simply manhandle the dome lid open against the roughly 628 pounds of pressure created by the roughly 2 lb./in² difference spread over the almost exactly 314.16 square inches of the dome lid.

And all my sleeveless shirts are either safety orange or safety green in color, of course, because the ladies don't like vests that much.

I don't see what is extreme about this parking job, btw. He's not in the aisle. Others can maneuver past his truck. What's the problem?
