Not me. I've had them before. The ELD doesn't tell me how to drive my truck anymore than my dispatcher or broker.
Remember when Werner first came out with them twenty years ago? There were non Werner drivers that actually believed that the ELD would automatically shut the truck off wherever it was at when the driver ran out of hours. You would see a brokedown Werner truck on the side of the road. It would be all over the CB about how he ran out of hours and the truck shut off.

Blaming a electronic device that is letting the companies force you into always being in a hurry is wrong. Being paid low wages, getting so far in debt that you have to work yourself to death, and poor planning on drivers parts are the most to blame. Nobody will look out for you, you have to take care of yourself and others always. We used to have a union of truck drivers that would help others, even stop when one was broke down on the side to see if any help is needed. WE ARE LETTING OUR GOVERNMENT AND CORPORATIONS ENSLAVE US. Are we not intelligent life?
Joetro and lovesthedrive Thank this. -
My GF has ridden with me a time or two. Won’t let her walk on the lots without me beside her. Those guys grabbing gears through the fuel islands need to be shot in the head. Better them than an innocent being walking......
Lepton1 Thanks this.
