Whenever I am driving in a semi in the construction zone where there is only 2 Lanes and concrete barriers on the outside of both lanes. I keep on having trouble with other semis overtaking me and trying to pass me when they can't hold their Lane and my mirror and my trailer has been bumped in the last 2 weeks and I'm a new driver so I'm unsure of the best way to navigate these situations. My truck doesn't handle the best so naturally I tried to slow down 4 Construction and better Lane control. And then I get a bunch of idiots that drive 10 over and run people off the road. Many of them will pass in the construction zone and then once a construction zone is over they drive slow like 10 under. I'm just trying to make it I'm a baby driver and I this is one of my major problems. Also I'm only making 600 a week that doesn't sound right does it.

I hate those aggressive truckers trying to pass in there. Cars are even worse because if they drift into the concrete barrier then over correct they might push you into the other barrier yourself.

If that section of road is that stressful for you just avoid it. I35W through Ft. Worth comes to mind. That is of course you are not simply starting in Dallas. As for pay, if it's not enough simply quit and go to a better paying job.

It'll take time but one day you'll get use to those construction zones and not think anything about it.Far as the pay yes that's normal for starter companies.

You need to get a handle on maintaining your position in your lane and sooner rather than later. The fact you say this has happened twice in a short period of time leads me to conclude that probably it's you.

Those narrow construction lanes are difficult and passing should not be done if everybody is driving a sensible speed, especially truck passing truck. But it's going to happen and you must learn how to cope with these situations.

This is what im dealing with. Its the same thing off I 10 from Houston to San Antoinio. I mean i watch my right mirror to stay as close as i can to to barrier and in my lane and these guys just speep past like that saves them time.
