Well, I'm going to shut up about what mine will allow me to get away with before somebody drops a dime. I like mine in comparison to some of the other setups I'm reading about.

I'm allow 150 miles in a week. Bobtail only. And must return to the location I start off duty driving. Good for going to a customer, dropping trailer and bobtail out to a t/s

Reading previous and recent threads about this topic, in the past it was common for Qualcomm to decide if you changed status based on speed or distance you drive. It seems now, that is less important and it factors in setting the brakes AND TURNING OFF THE ENGINE. Everything may look fine after a short/slow move, but a few minutes after you start driving or gon On Duty, if you haven't set brakes AND SHUT OFF ENGINE for a certain time, it will add your brief travel episode to your current driving and throw away what you thought was Off Duty time.

First, if you have run out of hours you are working too hard. 8 hours a day is plenty. Second, they are your logs not the companies. It is legal for you to move your truck on private property as was pointed out. Do not log out of your truck. Move it. Tell your log department to fix it if it recorded it incorrectly. It is your right. The log department and every other department works for the driver, not the other way around.

Third and most importantly, park where you have good lighting. Sometimes in the dark spots those good looking lot lizards turn out to be, well lets say not so good looking after all.
