Every camera company is a bad company.

Since BYOB&CBD has no cameras installed for any purpose, if you lease from us feel free to install whatever camera for whatever purpose you feel gives you peace of mind, or a thrill for that matter. Want to take a picture of yourself doing a digital nasal exploration? Fine by me! Need a picture of yourself and that young lady needing a ride to Dallas? Fine by me! BYOB&CBD making your dreams,(and fantasies) come true one lease at a time.

 

Sounds like a good way to get your face smashed in.

 

I remember back in the early 2000 there was a company that would send someone out to meet you at a truck stop near your delivery. They would take you to lunch and then go over your log book to see if you were legal and not making phony entrees. Cant remember who it was....but I saw it at the Ontario CA TA once or twice in like 07.

 

It is amusing, absolutely.

 

After back to back experiences with Fedex Ground and Saia, both of whom use driver facing camera's, I'm done with the driver facing camera nonsense. i have almost a decade behind the wheel of a commercial vehicle with no tickets, failed inspections or major accidents. I had a few small dents and dings my first 4 months after getting my cdl, but aside from that nothing else and over 700,000+ miles of continuous safe driving since then. I don't NEED A ####ING BABYSITTER.

If you put a driver facing camera in the truck to babysit me, then you obviously don't trust me to begin with and I can't work for you if there is no trust.

The camera's should only be for those who have.
- active points against their CDL on their MVR.
- failed inspections.
- texting while driving tickets.
- speeding tickets or other agregious tickets in a CMV.
- accidents on their record (personal car and CMV) in the past 3 years.
- road rage tickets of any kind (and really these companies shouldn't even hire anyone with a road rage incident in any vehicle....EVER).

These are the ### clowns who NEED A CAMERA in their face. The rest of us can be trusted to do our jobs and get from Point A to Point B and back without any problems.

I have no issues with a road facing camera. Those protect your butt more often than not.

Everyone in favor of infecting all the computers of driver facing camera companies with a virus that plays Madonna’s greatest hits on a never ending loop say “I”!

 

Was going to be a Walmart greeter till I found out there was a camera!

 

BTW, Frank, how do you do with camera's? I know you and mitrrors don't get along, but camera's?

 

Quite right and, frankly speaking, cameras are tough because they consistently fail to accurately capture my beauty.
