Sometimes you just have to do that because all the bobtail slots are full, and some truck spots don't even have bobtail parking. I won't hassle anyone for bobtail parking in a full slot unless it's blatantly stupidly done.

You can put a bobtail truck just about anywhere. It's rare I'm bobtail, but in the few instances I am, I don't even bother staying at a truck stop.

There you go , I understand some drivers just weren't raised to be mindful of others . Just like taking a 34 hour reset in the fuel island. I'll park my bobtail #### near anywhere else but a rig spot. Never had any issues

I think “just about anywhere” would cover parking at a truck stop in a proper parking spot so I won’t get hassled. Ya know the same thing you’re trying to do, only after I already did it.

I have parked bobtail in places that are not truck stops.

I have also had local police knock on my doors at 0300 telling me I need to move my truck even though I am not technically parked illegally.

To each their own. I prefer the hassle-free life of only parking my truck in facilities where there is no risk of local law enforcement or irritated store managers telling me to move on.

In bobtail I used to go to the local mall, park between the lines in a regular car spot. Give or take about a inch all around.

They really hate that. They do.

Doubled up in front of a dead pump but making it very hard to get the trailer through the open pump next bay over as well as blocking the scale.

Diagonal across the scale and bypass lane.
