I’ve decided that I will be more than happy to get back into a Freightliner..assuming it will be a condo. This Peterbilt rides a lot better and I have maybe an inch or two more leg room but man, the turning radius on this truck sucks. Some backing or u turn maneuvers that I can do in a Cascadia, I simply can’t do in this truck. Also the whole dash setup is a lot more ergonomic in my opinion. Been in this truck since July and I’m still hitting wrong switches on occasion. Our Cascadias have full size mini fridges as well, whereas Pete’s and KW’s get a factory installed fridge with a sorry excuse for a freezer

Sounds as if someone is coming up with excuses to get into a new truck.

In my Peterbilt I had them take the passenger seat out so I could put a portable chest freezer there.

In a few thousand miles they'll flip a switch and the odometer will start going the other way.

Well, my card got fixed. It somehow got turned off. I was off for four days so maybe it gets deactivated if not used within a certain time period.

Either way, was an easy fix and we all like easy fixes. :)

Thankfully I left out on Sunday. After I drop my load of pallets in the CB yard tomorrow morning, truck will be in the shop most of the day. Besides regular service, I’m also getting the issues with my APU fixed and a new windshield put in. James said that the sealer these windshields use in the 579’s needs to cure for 4 hours.

Hope there’s some good stuff on the television. One of those recliners in the lounge will be my friend for several hours

After I get my truck back I’ll be heading over to Fremont to get my Geotab training knocked out tomorrow morning since today is more or less out the window. I don’t like just sitting around doing nothing unless I’m at home but truck maintenance is important.
