Probably not much to leave the house for in Salina anyway. Go to the Cozy for burgers or go play bingo. Lol

I got my next load. Picking up tomorrow in Duncan, SC at some power tool place with a 1400 appointment. Anyone have a 411 on that shipper? Load info says no instructions available. It’s going to HD in Joliet

My husband has felt that way for a loonnngggg time. I’m getting to the point that I feel the same as well. And I’m feeling more and more like trucking companies are all pretty much lying scum. FCC excluded, of course. I really don’t want to have to move to be able to work for them. I live in VA, which is not in their hiring area. But, if things keep on the way they are, I just might.

I've seen more than once these pieces of fecal matter click 'paid only' at a Love's. They may need to start having drivers log into an account in order to change a status. That way they can get an idea who's purposely screwing with the system.

Or you see those folks giving a place a one star rating because of something some other dum bass truck driver did.

I don’t like running recaps. 450 miles doesn’t seem like a very productive day. Shutting down here at the TA west of Knoxville

I just have never been able to make the mental jump to running without a reset. I’ve talked to a couple of guys who do it and seem happy enough. By my math I’d need to keep my hours down to an average of 8.75 a day or below. I think I’d go bonkers only doing 450-500 miles a day. The flip side is I like having a day off every week to do laundry, shop, etc where I don’t have to watch the clock.
The reset life has its drawbacks too, this reset might wind up being closer to 48 hours depending on what load I get heading north since I shut down at 7AM (I usually get rolling between 1-5 AM). I’ll move my schedule around a fair bit but flipping over wholesale is a bit more than I care for.
