After sitting in more than double the usual morning traffic on Cajon, I Delivered my load of fence in Riverside. This time to the other fence company that’s in town, on the same street, on the same block.
And after sitting in more than double the traffic heading towards Costa Mesa for my reload of gearboxes, I arrive during their lunch break. So I took advantage of the time by organizing my under bunk storage. Heading to Deshler NE once loaded. I’m opting for the southern route as the winds are shifting and bringing in some snow.

Just watched the safety meeting video, couple of very shocking things in there. I encourage you to watch it, one thing I won’t discuss on a public forum, but the other one Mike in recruiting had a massive heart attack, if you are the praying type, please keep him in your prayers.

Tim also said that they’re pulling a lot of T680’s with only 300-350k on them. A lot of injector problems with those Paccar engines and the trucks otherwise being crap. His words, not mine

Wonder what the price difference is between the 455/1650 engine and the 510/1850 and if the uptime of the 510 would offset the difference with the downtime of the 455.

Well i deem fall officially here. Lot’s of places in the Midwest around the freezing mark or below. It’s a crisp 29 degrees in Fremont. Clear skies and next to no wind. It’s 30 where i live under the same conditions

I was going down the road just east of St. Joseph and the truck all of a sudden freaked the #### out. The dash lit up like a Christmas tree. Axle oil temperature too high, brake air pressure gauge fault, battery overvoltage, etc.. Majority of gauges were dead and the ones that did work gave crazy readings. Like the batteries being at 65.5 volts. Headlights and wipers turned on even though both knobs were in the off position. Very bizarre behavior. The truck itself still ran like nothing was wrong but obviously i pulled over immediately. Thankfully there was a truck parking area right here. Already talked to breakdown about it and we’re in the process of troubleshooting
