The $0.10 flatbed differential pay makes up for it.

I spoke to my recruiter today for my 90 day review and asked about a prorated safety bonus. He said due to me starting late in the quarter (only a few weeks) I’m only eligible for the out of route portion and the no service failure portion.


The 30K + safe miles go hand in hand.

 

Coming down I-57 between Mt. Vernon and the I-24 jct, I see IL already has their roads pre-treated as if there is a snow storm on the way.

 

Dispatch and I have been working on my go home load since Wednesday or Thursday.

Oversize pole out of Valley, heading to Belton SC for Tuesday. I have a reload already planned to get Kawasaki racks out of Hoschton GA to haul home for a few days before they are due.

KS drivers? I moved here in 2012 and it blew me away how everybody drove like they were the only one on the road or acted like they were headed to a fire. I think with so few people living here, coupled with good roads and higher speed limits, people get complacent. And don't get me started how Kansans can't seem to handle straight-in parking without taking up 2 and sometimes 3 parking spots, smh.
