Oh you took the long long way. I would’ve gone across 212 and stopped to eat at Stockman’s in Broadus.

Yeah, but you also had to roll bearings in them all the #### time. Good thing they are easy to work on.

everyone and their mother got off I-90 in SD, and there was a big line of trucks getting back on in MT. Yes it may be shorter but everyone else knows that too, so they all pile on to a two lane highway. I wanted zero part of that. I took 212 once going east at my old company and was not impressed. Plus there’s more to look at along 90

Made it to a rest area just outside of Big Timber for the night. 649 miles to Grandview. With hauling 40k pounds over that mountain pass east of Butte, 4th of July, and Lookout Pass, i don’t think i’m making it all the way there. I remember there being a decent Love’s at the 90/395 split in WA that’s a little over an hour from the Tri-Cities so i may just stop there tomorrow. I really don’t know anything that’s along 395 between Ritzville and Pasco as i’ve only been on that highway once

There’s a dumpy truckstop at the 395/26 junction. About 5 miles north of Pasco there’s Country Mercantile on the east side of the road, big gravel lot and decent food. There’s a Loves in Pasco but it’s guaranteed to be a disaster.

Hey guys! I might be joining FCC as soon as I get out of training at Clement in Lebanon. Been talking to the recruiter there and she said that she wants to hear from me on my last week of training. She said I’m next on her list to get with a company trainer. I’m wanting the Midwest Regional as a company driver. Any ideas on what I can expect for pay as newbie? I’m looking forward to this opportunity.

Not sure what training pay is or what they would start you out at once you go solo. The recruiter should be able to tell you that.

Rachel said my pay would be $85k, I guess that’s from day 1? She made it sound that way, but idk. I’ll find out more about that the next time I talk to her.

I managed to make it to Grandview and snagged the last street parking space. Those mountain passes weren’t nearly as bad as i thought. 655 miles in 10 hrs 12 mins. I have one more full day and then i’ll have to take a reset. I only get back 1.5 hours Tuesday plus whatever i don’t use tomorrow

I’d say 85k is on the high end for a regional fleet, but it honestly depends on how many miles you turn and your starting cpm. We have the miles if you want to run them. I’ve grossed a tad under 74k on the OTR fleet to date. On track to make it somewhere in the lower 80’s by the end of the year. There’s people here that run their socks off and probably make 6 figures as a company driver. I’m not one of those people. 101,025 paid miles as of last paycheck
