Thank you for the info! When I worked in construction I had several paychecks that I put in 120 hours a week. I’ve always worked myself into the ground and my old bones paid the price. I’m too old for that now, but I work as hard as I can. $75k is about $25k more than I have ever made! Hopefully, both the company and I will both make money.

One quick question… I’ve been a cigar and cigarette smoker for too many years to count. Can you smoke in their trucks?
-
i’ve never been told or have seen any rule that you can’tCherokee65 Thanks this.

Ok, Great! I get kinda cranky after a couple of hours without. I basically run on nicotine and caffeine (coffee).Goody3635 and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this.

Fremont and Council Bluffs are tobacco free while on the property but I don’t think that goes for the trucks. I just know I see the mechanics leaving the property to go smoke.

Dropping at a Costco DC in NJ. Had major concerns about parking after driving by a few parking lots packed full. I drive on to the DC and thankfully there were like 20 Trucks parked along the streets so I just joined them.
Checking in was a bit unusual for a Costco but I don’t hit too many of them. Instead of waiting in line before security and checking in at the window, which they had the setup for, you had to pass through and go park and walk back to that same building to wait in line to get a door assignment. Everything else seems to be going smoothly as expected.runningman0661 and Cherokee65 Thank this. -
Going to call Rachel about getting transferred to the Training Fleet. Sounds like they are making Bank over there.
But seriously, it’s a good company to be signing onto. Hoping all goes smoothly with your decision to join us.
Welcome aboard, eventually, and if you have any questions, someone here will be happy to help you out.Goody3635, dwells40 and Cherokee65 Thank this. -
There’s a patch for that.
runningman0661 Thanks this. -
Those patches are a joke. I was in the hospital with a broken ankle and a nurse put one on my arm, then a different nurse asked if I wanted a patch and said, “Sure!” so she put one on my other arm. I asked if I could go outside and get some fresh air so a nurse let me go outside. The minute I wheeled myself outside I lit up. I had 2 of the strongest patches they make on me and still wanted a cigarette. Thanks for the welcome!MidWest_MacDaddy, motocross25 and JForce28 Thank this.
