I wouldn't mind a 10 hour drive with an 8 hour break.. WITH the ability to reset.

Careful now, you're showing your age (mine too, I remember those imaginary 8 hour breaks on one of the logbooks)

if any of you new people to FCC are holed up in Council Bluffs sometime, there’s this great burger joint about 3/4 of a mile down the road. I highly recommend it. Their ice cream is pretty good as well IMG_4775.jpeg IMG_4777.jpeg

Some of us would rather have an increase. Especially those that got here in the last year or so and are wondering if it's worth it. Especially if we were making 6-10 cents more a mile, but only getting 2600 miles a week.

I'd rather see an additional idle time bonus. Keeping idle time below 10% isn't that hard.

    Rugerfan Thanks this.

My fuel solutions are usually the opposite. Not sure if they aren't picking up on correct fuel levels are what. They usually want me to fuel/fill 150 miles down the road from where I had just filled on the last trip. I've usually gotten new fuel solutions for that. No sense in putting less than 20 gallons in.

That must be where I and everyone else diverge. I make more than plenty of money. I live in a cheap house in a cheap town in a cheap state. I grew up dirt poor. I’m single with no kids and split expenses with a roommate. My expenses are pretty #### low.

I made 83k last year. They could pay me half that and i could still live comfortably.

I'll be in St Cloud Minnesota Monday night. I will have no choice but to idle my truck all night to keep the def from freezing. I bet they don't factor things like that in when figuring idle time.

    Goody3635 and Knucklehead Thank this.
